  • Company Background: Beehive assembled a team of collectors and players themselves, has become one of the few trading card retailers in Hong Kong. They are selling more than 500,000 items online and offline, which were stored at multiple locations. Vast amount of manual work was required to keep their day-to-day operation, and the heavy load had made them to reconsider its operation flow.
  • Challenges:
    • The Company’s previous online and offline sales are disconnected, together with its frequent transactions that took place multiple times per hour and the vast number of products they are selling. It is impossible to synchronize all sales across channels and locations for the most up-to-date inventory at real-time
    • The low visibility in inventory often led to overselling or some products mistaken as out of stock that they were not able to sell to customers
    • The previous “information silo” also meant that they were not about to address customers enquiries efficiently without spending much effort to find out the answers. 
  • Project Goals and Results: Our SUITE+ O2O solution connects Beehive's online and offline sales with aid of Shopify integration. The presence of synchronization between sales and inventory has eliminated the information silo, leaving high visibility in inventory management and greatly reduced the former manual work required for their day-to-day operation.

Jumbo Computer Supplies

  • Company Background: Jumbo is a well-known retailer of computer components and peripherals, who was the pioneer for selling online in their industry. They offer thousands of products and combinations for customers to choose from.
  • Challenges:
    • The wide range of products and combinations with multiple pick-up locations had made sales process very complicated. Special requirements were needed to manage sales at POS (Point of Sales)
    • The POS and eshop were siloed

  • Company Background: Rare Rare is a retailer of premium watches and wine in Hong Kong, providing part of the luxurious lifestyles for its customers.
  • Challenges:
    • They received enquiries from eshop but those cannot be converted to prospect, if there was any updates to that enquiry, a considerable amount of time and effort was required to follow up to keep track of the sales journey 
    • Memberships at POS and eshop are discrete, not capturing the full benefit of leveraging memberships to grow business
  • Project Goals and Results: Our SUITE+ automatically converted enquiry to prospect, both efficiency and transparency are improved drastically within the team. Sales members can easily follow up or update customers without much effort required and can even keep track of sales journey easily at their fingertips. I Love Taimeow Limited

  • Company Background: I Love Taimeow is a distributor of various pet foods originating from Taiwan, serving both B2B and B2C and aiming to provide pets with products of the best quality.
  • Challenges:

    The biggest challenge that I Love Taimeow Limited facing was their Order-To-Ship. There was a heavy load for the team from gathering all the sales record, packing orders and arranging logistics.  The existing inventory management did not cater expiry date, even resulting in obsolete goods and loss eventually. Without a proper accounting system, a lot of manual work was required to consolidate both B2B and B2C sales, giving rise to low visibility in financial status. The heavy reliance on manual work had stretched the team leaving them very little room for going to something extra on top of traditional marketing like advertisement and social media. 

  • Project Goals and Results: Order-to-Ship has now become easy, with sales, inventory and procurement are in a single platform, inventory is instantly reflected once sales orders are confirmed, with packing and delivery information can be readily printed out for delivery. Our customised solution also includes expiry date in inventory management, no more manual stocktaking to check expiry date! Our solution automates I Love Taimeow business workflow, it skips manual data entry and increases efficiency by capturing invoices, expense and reconcile while the team is on the go. Laguna Trading

  • Company Background: Laguna is a HK-based ecommerce player for photography kits targeting mainly Euro market.
  • Challenges:

    The lack of ERP system meant that Laguna had to manually bring all transactional data, preforming currency translation before having their financial status ready. 

  • Project Goals and Results: With the new solution in place, all sales are directed to one platform, alongside with procurement and inventory management centralised in one single platform. Consolidated financial information is ready at real-time.

Legacy United Limited

  • Company Background: Legacy United Limited is a HK-based jeweller.
  • Challenges:

    Legacy United’s original system catered very little of its business needs such as custom-made jewellery, and collections. Sales records were disconnected from system. It did not support multiple currencies either which was one of the operation essentials of the company. In addition, its original system became out-of-support, issues include incorrect costing took place, leading to wrong accounting reports subsequently. Vast amount of time and human effort are required to rectify those issues. 

  • Project Goals and Results: Sales and pipeline records are readily available at Suite + for management review, while multi-currencies had been catered. Our customised solution also fulfilled its business need to support jewellery hierarchy and related costing. Financial information is readily available for business analysis and performance review.

mART6

  • Company Background: mART6 is a popular lifestyle product reseller in Hong Kong, offering different lifestyle goods of diverse brand in the market. Retail shops are mainly located shopping malls/ area with high foot traffic.
  • Challenges:

    The legacy system did not allow customization to fulfill operational needs required by mART6. The solution allowed little room for systematic extension.

Winson Cleaning Holding

  • Company Background: Winson Cleaning is a listed company specializing in outsourcing cleaning service for major shopping malls and enterprises.
  • Challenges:

    The main challenge that Winson Cleaning encountered originated from its procurement process. Its procurement team had to spend much time and effort to manage procurement requests from hundreds of sites, followed by consolidating them to purchase orders. They relied on paper approval previously which was not optimal for such a sizable organization. Also, they considered the internal budget control insufficient 

  • Project Goals and Results: Purchase requests from multiple sites can now be handled at a centralized platform, where requests are consolidated to purchase orders, greatly saving up the time and effort incurred by the procurement team. Also, our solution helped to cater multi-tier approval and eliminate the paper approval workflow completely, along with flexible annual budget control across all sites.

QP HK Limited

  • Company Background: QP is a listed company specialized in printing for B2B. Besides, with eCommerce in the US.
  • Challenges:

    QP HK commented it was difficult to consolidate various revenue streams from their existing ERP. Manual calculation of US tax was required and that required much effort from the team to first consolidate all the financials before bringing together the final tax figures. 

  • Project Goals and Results: Capsuite introduced a complete solution for the automated consolidation of all revenue stream and even US taxes. We took care of the seamless adoption of the new solution by identifying errors in QP HK’s former system before importing data there.

Super Quick Fresh Fruit

  • Company Background: Super Quick is one of the few players in their industry with 30+ years. They ship fresh fruits from across the globe to Hong Kong or to Mainland.
  • Challenges:

    The challenges they encountered mainly originated from their mode of business which involves various custom clearance and related cost for logistics. It was time-consuming to handle those customer clearance. It was difficult and complex to calculate cost for each customer and shipment, and all these were carried out manually. Existing accounting system was merely a place to record transaction without providing much financial or commercial perspective.
